Hello World

This is me dipping my toes into the world of blogging in the 2020s. This feels so early 2000s, back when LiveJournal was still around. I'm missing that sense of community, though, so let's hope I can build something similar here.

I come from an age when letter writing was the most common means of long-distance communication, before emails and even home computers existed. I've been told that reading my letters feels just like talking with me so that's probably what you can expect here as well. Long, rambling, stream-of-consciousness storytelling :)

Oh yes, and I like emojis too. Lots of them. Stay tuned for more!
